Java is a powerful object oriented programming language.Many image processing systems have been built in Java. ImageJ (http://rsbweb.nih.gov/ij/),LIRE (http://www.semanticmetadata.net/lire/) etc are examples.The Aim of this blog is to illustrate the development of a simple image processing library in Java,Which can be used by students in their applications.
